Premedical AND CHARTER foundation Program Student Services

Academic Advising

The program’s curriculum, examination standards, registration, and advising of students are all directed by the Premedical Program Office. The program also offers students one-on-one assistance, individual tutor review, study skill/time management referral, and periodic email updates.

The Professional Supplemental Learning Program (PSLP)

Supplemental Learning (SL) groups are provided for pre-professional and undergraduate students who want to deepen their understanding of course material, improve long-term learning, and improve their grades in traditionally rigorous courses. The program is designed to assist students by developing learning communities, integrating study strategies, and applying effective test-taking skills.

Pre-Professional/Mentoring Program

Participation in internships and volunteer experiences during the Premedical years has been identified as in important predictor of success later in medical school. This program assists students with understanding the profession of medicine, and helps students to apply for pre-professional or volunteer opportunities.
