St. George’s University would like to introduce

The Chancellor’s Circle of the Legacy of Excellence (LOE) Scholarship

Exceptional students deserve an exceptional medical education. No one should have to sacrifice quality for cost.

Beginning with the August 2009 class, St. George’s University will award a one-third tuition scholarship – automatically – to 50 accepted students who have a minimum undergraduate 3.7 cumulative GPA, a 3.5 science GPA, and a 29 MCAT. The award does not require further review after the Committee on Admission makes its decision to accept into the School of Medicine.

Students who don’t make this automatic academic standard are encouraged to apply for the Legacy of Excellence scholarship program, which rewards academic achievement.  SGU has given hundreds of Legacy of Excellence awards to the best students in the past few years.

If you do have the academic standards for the Chancellor’s Circle of the LOE, but the first 50 scholarships are awarded before you are accepted, you will then be considered for a Legacy of Excellence Scholarship.
