The Graduate Public Health Program courses are offered within a trimester academic calendar:

Fall Term (August 15th  or nearest Monday to November 4th  or nearest Friday) – 12 weeks

Spring Term (January 17th  or nearest Monday to April 8th or nearest Friday) – 12 weeks

Summer Term (May 16th  or nearest Monday to July 8th  or nearest Friday) – 8 weeks

All classroom-administered courses are three (3) credit hours; each requiring 6 person/hours of classroom contact.  This is based on the fact that one (1) credit is equivalent to sixteen (16) hours of classroom contact.

MD/MPH and DVM/MPH dual-degree students can complete the program within fifteen (15) months. MPH students can complete the program within twelve (12) months. However, all students have up-to five (5) years to complete all program requirements.
