Accessing Email using a POP3 Client


Use the configuration settings below to configure your POP3 client or Smart Phone.

    Incoming Mail Server (POP3):

    Incoming Mail Server (POP3): STUMAIL.sgu.edu
    Port: 995
    Use SSL: yes


    Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):

    Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): SMTPMAIL.sgu.edu
    Port: 465
    Use SSL: yes


Please note that some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) prohibit external SMTP services to route through their network.  If you find you are unable to send Outgoing Mail (SMTP) after configuring your client, try using the SMTP Outgoing mail settings found on your ISPs website.
