What do I do if I can’t remember my Student Self Service Password?
You can reset your PIN if you have entered a security question and know the correct answer (See Step # 6 for instructions on resetting your PIN.) You can contact Helpdesk or submit a SHOR ticket at http://shor.sgu.edu if you need further assistance.

What if I can’t remember the answer to my Security Question in Student Self Service or
my account is locked?
You’ll have to contact helpdesk for assistance or submit a SHOR Ticket at http://shor.sgu.edu.

Can I change my Banner Self Service PIN?
Yes, you can change your PIN as long as you know your current PIN. Go to Personal Information and click change PIN

Are there any restrictions on what I can use for my Student Self Service PIN?
There is a size limitation to the PIN number. The Banner Student Self Service PIN must be six numbers.

If I try to log into Student Self Service numerous time without success, will my account get locked?
Yes. After five unsuccessful attempts to log in to Banner Student Self Service, your account will be locked, and you’ll need to contact helpdesk for assistance or submit a SHOR Ticket at http://shor.sgu.edu. This is the error recieved:
